Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities. Meeting project requirements is accomplished by selection and application of appropriate processes for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the project.
The project manager is responsible for accomplishing the project while balancing the three goals of the “triple constraint:” achieving required performance, on schedule, and within the budget. Unlike functional managers, project managers often must accomplish project goals with no formal authority over required resources. |

Where: All classes will be held in the Merritt Hall Computer Lab Room 5137 at Central Virginia Community College. Lunch and handouts are included.
Cost: Full-Day (7 hours): $135 for CVI members, $165 for non-members
Class Selection: We urge enrollees who have never taken a “formal” training class to begin with the Basic Level. Students who enroll in Intermediate and Advanced classes without a mastery of the basic fundamental skills slow down those ready for such classes.
Class Size: Minimum of 5 - Maximum of 20 |
